In this week’s episode I chat with Sarah Williamson, founder of WomenWise, a company on a mission to help women understand the complexities of menopause and midlife health. So, it’s no surprise that today we will be talking all things perimenopause and menopause.
In this conversation we talk about the non linear and non identical journey through menopause. What I love about Sarah’s approach is that she truly believes that women should trust their intuition when it comes to this season of their life and make the choices that are best for them. We hear some of the natural ways to support you during perimenopause and also consider the more medical approach. Wherever you sit in terms of your views on this topic there will be something for you.
- Perimenopause is a natural transition
- Menopause lasts for only one day and yet we use the word as if it covers our entire transition through perimenopause
- There is a lot of natural support from mother nature herself
- Our bodies truly want to be centred but they might need a little bit of help
- There is no right or wrong way to choose the support you need, only trust in your intuition
I hope you enjoy this conversation and take away so much from it.
